Primary Objectives

On completion of the Management Development for the Business Owner course, participants will have an understanding of the basics of essential Management Skills required to operate and manage every business. The course is fully participative and the opportunity is taken to “learn by doing”. This enables participants to analyse and improve their Management Skills for both themselves and their team members.

 

Management Skills for the Business Owner is developed specifically for Business Owners and Senior Managers who are required to operate and manage businesses, whether for themselves or as Professional Managers. It is focused on providing participants with an understanding of the wide range of skills and abilities required to be effective in managing any business operating as a small to medium sized enterprise. 

 

Each Management Training & Skills Course is amended and customised so that it best meets the needs of the host group. Participants are encouraged and expected to develop and use their own material so that the skills learned and developed are of maximum benefit for practical and immediate application within their own businesses.

 

The ideal number ranges from eight to twelve participants, though larger and smaller groups can be catered for. Course Duration runs from a half day Workshop on an individual Module basis to three full days. Courses can be run on or off site as required.
